KW AccessAbility Activities October 21 to November 2

Here's what's happening this week.... 

1:00 pm to 4:00 pm - KWA Café Coffee Shop (at the KWA Office) - We turn the office into a Coffee Shop. Come out to socialize with friends and peers here, instead of at an expensive Coffee Shop. We have coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soft drinks available. There will also be a different baked treat each week (like cookies or scones). We've also added things like cheese & crackers and fruit occasionally. Cost is just $2.00. If you can't join us in the office you can still connect with your friends via Zoom. Click Here to connect on Zoom. Our original virtual Café is still open and on our Big Screen so that office participants can interact with you!

 

1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - November Planning Meeting in the KWA Office and On Zoom - It's time to talk about all the great activities that we can be doing next month and we want your input on the possibilities for them and when the events will happen. 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm – Wii Bowling League at the KWA Office - Those members participating in the bowling league this week have been contacted by the office. It's a fun game played on our big screen with the new twist of competing against other teams of 3. 

12:00 pm to 2:30 pm - Lunch at Piper Arms Pub Sportsworld - Our restaurant visit this month takes advantage of their $12.99 lunch special menu (with beverage purchase) with 24 items on it. There are entrees, burgers, sandwiches, wraps and more. Join us for Lunch 4391 King St E, Kitchener (corner of King and Baxter / Sportsworld). You can check out their menu at this link.  

 

4:30 pm to 7:00 pm - After Hours Chill Party at the KWA Office - It's a great new event started this summer. Come out for friendship and socializing at the KWA office. We'll have something good to eat, beverages plus other goodies. And we may even play games too! If you haven't been able to come to our afternoon Coffee Shop, this is the event for you. End the week on a high note relaxing with your peers. Event Cost $5
