Activities at KW AccessAbility April 14 to 25

Hello and Welcome,

 

This is the weelky blog about what is going on at KW AccessAbility.

 

Unfortunately we have to postpone In The Kitchen until May (originally scheduled for this Thursday April 17). 

 

KW AccessAbility will be closed for the Easter Holiday weekend from Friday April 18 to Monday April 21 inclusive.

 

Who says it can't be a Walk in The Park!  As Spring is (slowly) arriving, we are planning on getting outside to enjoy the nicer weather with a walk through Victoria Park trails on Thursday April 24 from 1 to 3 pm (weather permitting of course). Please let me know if you are available and interested in doing the walk.

 

 

 

1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - April Planning Meeting (at the KWA Office and On Zoom) - It's a time to talk about all the great activities that we can do as the weather improves. We want your input on the possibilities for events we will have in April and when they will happen. Have your say! Is there something you would like us to do as a group? 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Wii Bowling Group One - It's an afternoon of Wii Game Console Bowling fun on our Big Screen.  As we have a lot of members participating, there are 2 different groups, each bowling every other week. This week is already filled. (Next Date for Group 1 is Wednesday April 30th)

 

 

12:00 pm to 3:30 pm - In The Kitchen - Pasta Primavera - Postponed until May, sorry for any inconvenience.

12:00 pm to 3:30 pm - April Birthday Party / Easter Theme - We're celebrating members who have a birthday in April with an Easter Themed Party. We're having a delicious lunch and of course cake (rumour is that it involves a vegetable and cream cheese). Event Cost is $5.00. 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Wii Bowling Group Two - It's an afternoon of Wii Game Console Bowling fun on our Big Screen.  This week it's Group 2 and there are still spots available.  As we have a lot of members participating, there are 2 different groups, each bowling every other week. Call the office 519-885-6640 or reply to this email to let us know you would like to join us this week (Next Date for Group 2 is Wednesday April 23)

 

 

1:00 to 3:00 pm - Trail Walk - Victoria Park - It's our first Trail Walk 2025, so we're making it a Walk In The Park! Let's get outside and enjoy the better weather with a walk around the trails in Victoria Park. We will meet at the Victoria Park Pavilion (80 Schneider Ave) MobilityPLUS drop off point. This is a Weather Permitting event, so if it's raining (or snowing) the event will be postponed until there is better weather.

 

 

1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Wii Bowling Open Session - It's an afternoon of Wii Game Console Bowling fun on our Big Screen for those who can't make it on Wednesday and members who just want more practice.
